About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to lead the design, modernization, and transformation of enterprise-scale cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Azure cloud architecture, microservices, security, DevOps, and distributed systems, with a proven ability to bridge business objectives and technical execution. This role requires a strategic thinker who can architect scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions while mentoring engineering teams and driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native architectures.
Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives for enterprise applications.
Architect microservices-based solutions using industry best practices and design patterns.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
Drive architectural governance, security compliance, and cloud best practices.
Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of critical production issues.
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, AI-assisted development tools, and cloud innovations.
Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and cost optimization of cloud environments.
Required Skills
Cloud & Architecture
Strong expertise in Azure Cloud Architecture and Cloud Transformation.
Experience designing microservices, event-driven systems, and distributed applications.
Hands-on experience with API Gateways, Event Sourcing, Circuit Breakers, and modern cloud-native patterns.
Proven experience modernizing legacy applications into cloud-native solutions.
Development & Frameworks
Expert-level experience with Java or .NET Core/C#.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID Principles, and Clean Architecture.
Experience building secure and scalable REST APIs.
Knowledge of GraphQL and modern API architectures is preferred.
Containers & DevOps
Docker and Kubernetes expertise.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu preferred).
Experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Serverless architectures.
Databases & Data Management
Strong expertise in relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL.
Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Couchbase.
Knowledge of distributed caching technologies such as Redis or Memcached.
Strong understanding of data modeling, optimization, and performance tuning.
Security & Identity Management
Expertise in OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and JWT authentication.
Experience integrating enterprise identity providers such as Entra ID, Okta, or Auth0.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, encryption, and OWASP Top 10 standards.
AI-Augmented Engineering
Experience leveraging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude, or similar solutions for software architecture, prototyping, and development acceleration.
Understanding of AI governance, security controls, and code quality standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to manage critical incidents and perform under pressure.
